La Boussole, Cultural Center Reims

La Boussole is a research and work place, dedicated to culture and live performances, located in the Croix du Sud district.

This project was initiated by Plurial Novilia, a company of the Action Logement group, which proposed a new space dedicated to an artistic and cultural mediation project for the benefit of the neighborhood's residents. To this end, several cultural scenes from Reims were solicited to build a program (shows, workshops, residencies, etc.). This is how three structures came together and founded the SCENOCO association, the acronym for Césaré, Nova Villa, Comédie*.
Alongside the offerings of Césaré, Nova Villa, and the Comédie, La Boussole is developing its own programming.

Comprising a equipped room, with a capacity of 49 people, this space is intended to host artists in residence but also to support residents and associative structures wishing to develop their cultural and artistic projects. La Boussole is a complementary tool to the associative and cultural life of the neighborhood.

Throughout the year, Césaré proposes and leads several projects in collaboration with the team at The Compass. They will be presented in detail on the homepage of our website.
