Calebasses Labs
Mario Lorenzo
A Burgeoning Rumor
Sensitive to the problem of noise pollution, Calebasses Labs is a facility that explores a sound space of low intensity but great richness. Through a "low-tech" made mainly of gourd bowls from South America and low-energy transducers, this 21st-century "musical laboratory" offers a non-intrusive and singular diffusion by deploying a myriad of sound grains, thus creating a space that is both voluminous and silent, which we can explore through close listening sessions.
Composition, design Mario Lorenzo
