Marie-Pierre Le Cocq activates her mineral organs — sculptures carved from limestone, marble, and volcanic rock — in real time, using mallets and micro-contacts attached to her hands. It was during an artist residency in 2023 that she discovered the resonance of stones and chose to turn them into instruments. The sound is then processed, transformed, and spatialized. Each performance becomes an exploration of what space does to matter, and what matter does to space.
