Nuisance(s)
Hugo Titelein
Audiovisual installation
Acoustic pollution, incessant flow of information: with NUISANCE(S), Hugo Titelein explores noise in all its forms. This project makes external chaos resonate with mental interference and work anxiety. Inspired by researcher Juliette Volcler and philosopher Dominique Quessada, the performance takes shape through an immersive setup: multi-channel broadcasting, video mapping, hijacked noise-cancelling headphones, and transducers on office furniture*. A physical plunge into the heart of our modern overloads.
Transducer: An electronic component that transforms sound into physical vibrations to make an object resonate.
