Fort Night
In a unique nocturnal atmosphere, stroll through the Fort of Douaumont and (re)discover its history through various animations.
Several historical points, three musical evocations freely inspired by the history of the fort in 1916, French and German historical recreations, and a casemate illuminated in the manner of olden times. Take this unique visit to this emblematic site of the Verdun battlefield!
Musical Evocations
For this third edition, musical evocations created in partnership with Césaré - National Center for Musical Creation, Reims will be performed inside the fort. In turn, percussionist Anthony Laguerre, cellist Stéphane Clor, and harpist Hélène Breschand will play short pieces inspired by the history of the fort in 1916.
Several musical evocations will be offered during the evening (subject to changes): 6:15 PM - 7:00 PM - 7:30 PM - 8:45 PM - 9:30 PM - 10:00 PM.

Fort Douaumont
The Verdun Memorial and the forts of Douaumont and Vaux are located at the heart of the Verdun battlefield, on the heights of the city of Verdun. The Memorial was built on the site of the former train station of the destroyed village of Fleury-devant-Douaumont.
