The Instrument
Svetlana Maraš
Live performance
Composer and major figure of electronic music, Svetlana Maraš transposes the image of the acoustic instrument into an augmented reality. With her creation The Instrument, she hijacks existing technologies to turn them into a vast sound repertoire. Her interface extends the human gesture into the heart of a creative circuit where matter is continuously transformed. Manipulable in a controlled or unpredictable way by any user, this unique device reinvents live improvisation.
