The Fragile Wave

Julie Rousse
Live electroacoustic – creation 2025

The Fragile Wave is situated at the intersection of sound art and ecology, exploring the fragility of waves on the surface of the water, the vulnerability of aquatic ecosystems, and the urgent need for their preservation. It invites reflection on the invisible and ephemeral quality of water, questioning how we interact with nature and how these fragile ecosystems are affected by our daily actions. The work explores memory and the future by interrogating our intimate and ecological relationship with freshwater, a vital element for human survival.

MIRARI

Philippe Gordiani
Live electroacoustic – creation 2025

With H.A.V. (2022), Philippe Gordiani opened a cycle dedicated to verbal auditory hallucinations. With MIRARI — the Latin verb that gave rise to "mirage" and "mirror" — he continues on this path, at the boundaries of the real and the imaginary for this new creation under headphones.
Here, everything begins with the simple listening of the moment, through the resonance of the sound world around us. Then, almost imperceptibly, this reality slips, doubles, and diffracts. It becomes a mirage, a moving reflection in the mirror of our listening. Gradually, the experience leads us into a hypnotic journey, a sonic introspection that detaches us from reality and immerses us into the invisible.
