Cello Solo > Festival in situ
Concert
Noémi Boutin
Former prodigy student of CNSMD in Paris, Noémi Boutin is a cellist who has chosen freedom over conventions. Although her talent destines her for great classical concertos, she thrives in an "undisciplined" practice of her instrument.
Her approach is based on a rare balance between the demands of chamber music and the boldness of contemporary creation. A true explorer, she breaks down the barriers between the arts by challenging her cello with circus, theater, or gastronomy. Her artistic identity is defined by this taste for the "side-step": she loves the unexpected, the poetry of the absurd, and the use of words, making each performance a human as much as a musical adventure.
