Ensemble 0, a contemporary music ensemble conducted by Stéphane Garin and Sylvain Chauveau, performs pieces by primarily current composers as well as compositions by its members. It works with many collaborators.

The zero year of ensemble 0 is 2004, when four friends decided to assemble a vehicle for contemporary music, primarily acoustic. A lightweight and adaptable vehicle, with variable geometry and geography (the members of the ensemble have always lived in different cities and countries, between France, Spain, and Belgium) that found its official form in 2016.

Zero, in cartography, is the reference level from which altitudes are measured. That is to say: the point where the field of possibilities stands. Depending on the chosen direction, the compositions explored or deciphered, the musicians and instruments mobilized, ensemble 0 plays on an amazing variety of landscapes. First with its own compositions, notably carried by a trio that is like the beating heart of the collective: Sylvain Chauveau, Stéphane Garin, and Joël Mérah. Then with a contemporary repertoire, where the ensemble expands based on the needs of each work.

During this residency, ensemble 0 will work on the pieces from Drums including:
- The electronic piece Drums, by Laurie Spiegel.
- An original piece by Mica Levi, a non-binary artist based in London.
- A commission from Canadian-American musician Claire Rousay, also for percussion, lasting about 25 minutes.
