3 pieces for double bass

The SOLO(w)S project is the first stage in the creation of a series of new works for double bass and electronics, a project initiated by Louis-Michel Marion and supported by L'Archipel Nocturne, which commissioned the composers Aline Gorisse, Elsa Biston, and Hervé Birolini, each working with a different setup.

The purpose of this residency at Césaré is the continuation by double bassist Louis-Michel Marion with Elsa Biston of the work in progress since November, notably at the Théâtre de Mon Désert in Nancy (with the support of the Plateforme régionale des musiques de création) and at the Arsenal in Metz (with the support of the Cité Musicale).
